I feel for women. This transition period in mindset is not being helped by the people in power, who should be making life easier on all people by helping people realize that men and women are equal, and a male dominated society is wrong. I feel a lot of women want to advance themselves, but even the idea of advancement is in the white male mindset of benefiting corporations. I feel bad for women because they're pursuing power in the terms that society has framed it, but it's just creating a clusterfuck due to misheld beliefs about what relationships should look like in all sexes /genders.
But seeing as we probably won't make much headway in this, with the deeply engrained sexism and misogyny in male and female minds, as well as a refusal to reshape America in a way that actually helps human beings not corporations, should women get more comfortable with the idea of one good man, an actual good guy, having multiple women or families? I know multiple families and good guy don't go together in many people's mind, but I don't think they're mutually exclusive. And should men get comfortable with the same thing? Seems to me, that the possessive idea of love that most subscribe to isn't sustainable going forward, from an emotional standpoint, and from a numbers standpoint.
Very interesting stuff to think about Lolol
