People who care DO TALK ABOUT IT. In that sense, who are you speaking to on a regular basis? Do you think the mainstream media is going to dedicate coverage to issues that are the result of years of government policy and their subsequent neglect? When billions of dollars are made from keeping the black community in poverty, which is the number 1 indicator of crime rate? No, YOU and YOUR friends are not talking about this, along with the majority of non black people in this country, WHO DON'T TRULY CARE. And make FALSE EQUIVALENCIES of POLICE VIOLENCE to ignore the greater context of WHY the black communities violent crime rates are higher. Because the history of united states policy and where they decide to invest their time, money, and energy CLEARLY shows WHY.

I'm guessing that you don't spend enough time in community based organizations trying to make a difference to be aware of that. That these conversations have been going on for a long time and continue to go on. So take your FAKE CONCERN somewhere else. I'm tired of these same old DISMISSIVE tropes that always come up with you "Oh I'm just wondering what yall think about the data " when data means NOTHING without CONTEXT. It's truly frustrating how people try to position themselves as neutral observers when acting like those two data points have anything to do with each other, beyond indicating the black community has been FUCKED OVER by our white supremacist government on a MULTITUDE of levels. "Well what about this" fuck outta here man
