Yeah maybe the author could have been a little nicer and made you feel less dismissed but come on now. You can't take this shit personal, its some random person's words on the internet lol We need honesty in regards to all groups like this, and this did not come off to me as an attack on men, but venting frustration on the FALSE narrative that men are some kind of special group when discussing HUMANS having problems. And the media blowing this false narrative out of proportion and perpetuating the DISPROPORTIONAL focus on male issues vs other demographics.

Moral of the story, ALL HUMANS are going through shit in society. "Male Loneliness" is a sensationalist media talking point. We can talk about other demographics and sensationalism at some point, BUT CAN WE STAY FOCUSED AND NOT USE COMPARISONS? Comparisons are a sign of lower intelligence tbh. Higher intelligence is shown by people able to focus on a subject and completely seek to understand it thoroughly without needing reference points or to make it compete against other concepts. That is a guaranteed way to introduce bias and undermine the context and nuance with which topics deserve to be handled.

I have opinions on race, LGBTQ+, politics, women and stuff too, but bringing them up in regards to an article about men is NONSENSICAL lol. Express your disagreement if you must but make it intelligent, not about your hurt feelings and how the author is "mean". IT'S A RANDOM INTERNET PERSON lol
