We live in a society that values money over people.... I don't think anyone can call themselves a truly righteous person and have a whole shit load of money really haha because we can only use do much you know? How much value added is 5 million vs 1 million? Can you really be a spiritual person if you don't live simply and invest excess into making the world a better place? It seems really fishy to me. It doesn't really follow logically or ethically in my opinion. Unless their values aren't as compassionate as they'd like you to think 🤷🏾♂️
I think people can excuse the hoarding of money because our society values money above all else, certainly above helping people. Everything in our society is for sale and somehow people see amassing a personal fortune as proof of your righteousness, rather than a cause to question it.... Our society is truly upside down when it comes to how it values materialism. I don't get upset about it but I mean, how much does one person really need? This counts for all the rich and wealthy, them hoarding the energy of money without reinvestment is the root cause of all issues in America in my opinion.
